CSH is pleased to announce that Dr. Laurence Gautier, researcher and member of the Documenting Democracy: History, Politics, Citizenship area of the CSH, will be participating in a three days conference “Between democracy and progress? Development, Nation Building and Education in Early Post-Colonial India (1930-1964)“, organised by the Humboldt University in Berlin , 26-28 October 2023.

Dr. Gautier will talk on “Can Muslim universities be Indian universities? Muslim universities as agents of nation-building in post-independence India“.
