Ashoka VARDHAN

Ashoka Vardhan holds a Masters in Modern History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and  Bachelors in History from St Stephen’s College, Delhi. He is interested in the politics of history in South Asia, the concept of the archive, and Postcolonial Theory. He is curious to make sense of the contemporary world through the lens of history. He is currently part of the CHALLINEQ project under the supervision of Dr Nicolas Gravel and Dr Olivier Telle, which aims to understand inequalities in India, and it’s changes over a period of 15 years through various socioeconomic factors.
