Amreen KHANAM
Amreen Khanam has a Masters in Modern History from Jamia Millia Islamia. Her interest includes understanding the caste and class factors playing in the discrimination of the residents living in the slums of Delhi. She is currently part of the project CHALLINEQ under the supervision of Nicolas Gravel, which aims to understand inequalities in India, and its changes over a period of 15 years through various socioeconomic factors.
She has previously worked under Dr. Rémi de Bercegol at CSH on the access to urban services in the slums of Delhi. This work was part of a research project focusing on the organization of waste management in Delhi.
