Nausheen Ashraf is currently in the final year of her master’s degree in Modern History at the University of Delhi. She is working as a research intern under the supervision of Corinne Lefèvre, contributing to a comparative study of Delhi’s territory through recorded inscriptions. As a research intern her work focuses on analyzing the historical dimensions of Delhi’s urban and cultural landscape, exploring how inscriptions reflect shifts in governance, public space . Her academic interests lie at the intersection of modern history, urban studies, and material culture, with a particular focus on the ways historical records and inscriptions shape collective memory and identity.
