Mr. Vejendla T. Srinivasarao received his Master’s degree in Rural Management from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar (2016-2018). He worked with national and international NGOs based at Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar as Researcher in livelihoods projects. His research work in CSISA project (CIMMYT, Bhubaneswar) on Direct Seeded Rice and Maize crops is in the process of journal publishing. His research paper on “Direct Seeded Rice: Service Providers’ engagement and farmers’ perception in Odisha” won best research paper presentation award in the International Conference on Rural Management (Xavier University, Bhubaneswar). At CSH, he is working as Research Associate in Dr. Bruno Dorin’s team for ‘RySS-CIRAD-FAO Foresight study’. He performs the tasks: Data mining/engineering, statistics, bio-economic modelling.

Prior to his joining with CSH, he worked with APMAS (Hyderabad) where he was involved in Research, Monitoring & Evaluation of livelihoods projects. He has expertise in Big Data Analytics and he won awards in data analytics competitions held by IIT (Kanpur) & NAARM (Hyderabad).

Achievements:

• Gold medal in academics (KIIT University, Bhubaneswar).
• Best research paper presentation award in ‘International conference on rural management’ (Xavier University, Bhubaneswar).
