BIOGRAPHY:

Sofie Heintz is a PhD student in Political Science and Indian Studies at the University of Zurich and a visiting scholar of the Centre des Sciences Humaines in Delhi. In her dissertation project, she aims to investigate whether and how recent reforms have changed the dynamics of public service delivery in Delhi. She employs a mixed-methods approach to explore how public service reforms have been implemented across different governance levels, how this impacts different socioeconomic groups’ access to and expectations of the state, and what the connected political implications of this might be.
