Prannv DHAWAN

BIOGRAPHY:
Prannv Dhawan is an Advocate at the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and the Punjab and Haryana High Court. He specialises in constitutional law, human rights law and environmental law. He graduated with a B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He was a law clerk and research associate at the Supreme Court of India. Previously, he has served as a Research Associate and Consultant with the Centre for Policy Research and the Government of Meghalaya on environmental law and governance. He has extensively researched and written about the expansion, resilience and effectiveness of the Indian reservation policy and jurisprudence, with a special emphasis on affirmative action for marginalised minority communities. Besides conducting litigation advocacy and academic research, Prannv initiates public dialogue on issues of social, gender and environmental justice by organising round tables, writing opinion pieces and supporting civil society advocacy.
