Fakhruz zaman
Fakhruz zaman is currently working as research associate at CSH, collaborating with Christophe Z Guilmoto. He received his PhD from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. During PhD, he looked at politics of Barelwi Islam in India, focusing Syed Pak Makhdum Dargah and Kichaucha Sharif in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. His research interest includes religion and politics, state and regional politics, and the politics of representation.
Previously, Fakhruz zaman worked as a research associate at esteemed institutions such as CWDS, CSDS – Lokniti. He was visiting faculty at the University of Delhi colleges, such as Kamala Nehru College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, PGDAV College and Motilal Nehru College.
