Deshdeep DHANKHAR
BIOGRAPHY:
Deshdeep Dhankhar is currently engaged in a project under the supervision of Dr. Stéphanie Tawa Lama on local democracy and innovations at the grassroots at the Centre de Sciences Humaines (CSH), New Delhi. His research focuses on political behaviour, democracy, and opposition, with a keen interest in exploring various facets of democratic processes using contemporary methodological tools. Before his current engagement at the CSH, he served as a Policy Fellow at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. Deshdeep has worked with academics and organisations such as CSDS-Lokniti and OXFAM India. He holds a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Delhi.
