Deshdeep DHANKHAR

BIOGRAPHY:

Deshdeep Dhankhar is a Research Assistant currently working under the supervision of Dr. Stéphanie Tawa Lama, on the project “Taking stock of democratic innovations at the local level”. His research focuses on the domains of political behavior, policy studies, democracy, and political inclusion. Deshdeep holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi. With over four years of experience working with civil society and development sector organisations, Deshdeep has been actively contributing to promote integrity and inclusion in Indian politics. He has worked with academics and organisations such as Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), CSDS-Lokniti, OXFAM India, among others.
