Daphné Reguiessé has a European Ph.D in Regional Planning and Public Policies at Iuav University of Venice (Italy), in collaboration with Aarhus University (Denmark), CNRS Poitiers (France), and University of Amsterdam (Netherlands). Her background studies includes a bachelor degree in political sciences, International relationships and human rights (University of Padua, Italy), followed by a master’s research-degree on Indian educational public policies.
Daphné has dedicated the past six years to immersive experiences in India- punctuated by stays in urban and rural contexts- and in Italy with the Indian population, leading her to develop an expertise about India related to national policies and international strategies, mainly focused on the topic of Indian migration in/to Italy.
Today, she lives in Italy, where she works as a project manager for development and social projects while being an active research member in Indian studies for AJEI (France), Sarasvati Association (Cà Foscari University of Venice and Turin Universities, Italy) and a frequent visiting scholar at CSH (New Delhi). Since October 2023, she is a Professor of Human Rights in the Master Degree “HUMAN RIGHTS AND MULTI-LEVEL GOVERNANCE” at the School of Economics and Political Sciences of the University of Padova (Italy), where she teaches the topic in French.
