Biography:
Avani Chahar is a Research Assistant working with Dr. Mathieu Quet under the Global Smog Project. Her research focuses on the manufacture of evidence regarding the health impacts of air pollution, including interviews with medical practitioners, epidemiologists, and environmental experts.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Delhi and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. Her areas of focus include Science and Technology Studies (STS) and the anthropology of health, with a particular interest in ethnographic research and urban environmental challenges.
