About the movie: In Bhutan, known for its Gross National Happiness index, a happiness agent travels to villages to measure citizens’ well-being. His cross-country road trip, meeting people from all walks of life, reveals the fragile yet universal nature of happiness.

A perfect evening of cinema, conversation, and reflection on what truly makes us happy.

About the festival: INDIE TALKIES is a series of film projections curated by the Centre de Sciences Humaines (CSH) and hosted by Alliance Française de Delhi (AFD). Happening once a month, the lineup includes feature-length films and documentaries from across the country, showcasing a diversity of languages, formats and aesthetic sensibilities. It aims to discuss the different financial, artistic and political facets of independence in filmmaking.
