Synopsis: In the coastal town of Ponnani, Kerala, Fathima lives under the strict control of her orthodox husband, Ashraf, a local usthad. When their son wets their old mattress, Fathima’s attempt to replace it sparks conflict. As cash goes missing, as Ashraf blocks her at every turn, and as her frustration keeps growing, will Fathima eventually manage to carry out her modest mission?
