Renaud Egreteau is a Doctoral candidate (PhD in Political Science, spec. Asia) at the Institute of Political Science of Paris (Sciences Po Paris) and attached to the Centre of International Studies and Research (CERI, Paris). He was granted a 2-year scholarship by the CSH (2002-2004) to conduct his research in New Delhi, and a 1-year scholarship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Programme Lavoisier, 2004-2005) to follow his work at the IRASEC (Institute of Research on Contemporary South East Asia, Bangkok, Thailand), a second French institute of research in Asia. His main field of expertise are Politics and International Relations in Asia, with a special focus on India, India-China relations and Burma (Myanmar).
