Ingrid THERWATH
Ingrid Therwath’s main research areas are public policies, diasporas, nationalism and the Sangh Parivar. Her current project is devoted to understading the dynamics of the relation between the Indian State and the diaspora, with a particular emphasis shed on its partisan dimension and on ethnic lobbying in host countries. Currently working on the following programs:
- The ‘Indian’ communities of the Réunion: national and transnational identity politics (as a coordinator)
- Long-Distance Regionalism and Non Resident Telanganites (as a coordinator)
- E-diaspora: Hindu nationalism online (as a coordinator)
